Reporting & Complaints
Last updated: 13 September 2026
Reports and complaints help Aviggo maintain a safer, more trustworthy and fair local work and services marketplace. This Reporting & Complaints Policy (“Policy”) explains what can be reported, how to submit a report or complaint, what information and evidence may help, how Aviggo may review a matter, and the types of action that may follow.
Read this Policy together with the Terms of Service, Safety & Trust Policy, Community Standards, Prohibited Services & Items Policy, Booking, Cancellation, Refund & Disputes Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of this Policy
Aviggo aims to provide a clear reporting path for policy violations, fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, misleading information and serious user disputes. A report does not automatically prove an allegation; matters may be reviewed using the information reasonably available.
2. Reports and complaints
A report generally tells Aviggo that a profile, user, service, content item or conduct may violate policy. A complaint may concern an account, booking, service experience, privacy, moderation, technical issue or a broader platform concern. The same incident may involve both.
3. What you may report
- Fake or misleading profiles;
- Spam or unwanted promotion;
- Unsafe or inappropriate content;
- Suspicious contact information;
- Fraud, scams or deceptive payment requests;
- Harassment, threats or abusive behaviour;
- Prohibited services, items or work;
- Privacy violations or misuse of personal information;
- Fake reviews, rating manipulation or booking manipulation;
- Misleading business, job or service information;
- Other credible concerns involving Aviggo policy or applicable law.
4. Profile Report feature
Where a Report option is available on an Aviggo profile, a signed-in user may submit a profile report. The current form generally includes reasons such as fake or misleading profile, spam or unwanted promotion, unsafe or inappropriate content, suspicious contact information, or Other.
For matters outside a profile or where no Report option is available, use Contact Us.
5. Problems with your own profile or account
Use Contact Us for your own account, profile editing, suspension, privacy or technical issues rather than reporting your own profile.
6. Check the target before reporting
Where possible, make sure the report relates to the correct profile, booking, job, message or incident. Reporting the wrong user or content may make review more difficult.
7. Helpful information
- Profile, job, booking or service reference;
- Date and approximate time;
- A short, factual description;
- Relevant Aviggo messages;
- Receipts or transaction references;
- Screenshots, photos or other supporting records;
- The nature of any safety risk;
- A short note about any attempt already made to resolve the issue.
8. Keep descriptions concise and specific
The profile-report description field may be limited. Focus on what happened, why it is a concern and the most important facts. Use Contact Us for a broader complaint.
9. Preserve evidence
Keep relevant messages, booking details, agreed prices, receipts, transaction IDs, photos, delivery records and other evidence. Off-platform communications or payments may be harder for Aviggo to verify.
10. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information
Do not send passwords, OTPs, PINs, card security codes, full banking credentials, recovery codes or unnecessary identity documents. Redact unrelated sensitive information from documents where appropriate.
11. Booking or service disputes
For disputes about scope, price, quality, cancellation, no-show, completion or payment, first try to resolve the issue in writing where reasonable. If unresolved, submit the relevant booking/message evidence. See the Booking, Cancellation, Refund & Disputes Policy.
12. Fraud or scam reports
If you suspect a fake payment confirmation, forged receipt, advance-payment scam, phishing, identity fraud, fake job, deceptive commission scheme or other fraud, stop sending money or credentials and report the concern promptly. A bank or payment provider may also have its own complaint or reversal process.
13. Harassment, threats or abusive behaviour
Harassment, stalking, blackmail, sexual harassment, threats, hateful abuse and similar conduct may be reported. Do not rely only on Aviggo reporting where there is immediate physical danger.
14. Unsafe or prohibited services
Do not proceed with a transaction if work, services or items appear unsafe, unlawful or contrary to the Prohibited Services & Items Policy. Report the matter where appropriate.
15. Fake or misleading profiles
Impersonation, stolen photos or portfolios, false qualifications, fake business identities and materially misleading experience claims may be reported. A personal disagreement or simply disliking a provider is not by itself evidence of a fake profile.
16. Spam and suspicious contact information
Mass promotion, repeated unwanted solicitation, suspicious phone/WhatsApp instructions, phishing contacts, deceptive external links or attempts to move users off-platform for fraud may be reported.
17. Review and rating abuse
Fake, paid or manipulated reviews, self-reviews, fabricated bookings, coercive reviews and rating manipulation may be reported. A truthful negative review based on a genuine experience is not a violation merely because it is negative.
18. Privacy violations
Unauthorized disclosure of personal information, doxxing, distribution of intimate/private information, requests for account credentials and other privacy abuses may be reported. The Privacy Policy also applies to personal-data concerns.
19. Child or vulnerable-person safety
Child exploitation, sexual exploitation, trafficking, forced labour and immediate risks to vulnerable people are serious matters. Report them to Aviggo and contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authority where applicable.
20. Emergencies
Aviggo is not an emergency service. For an immediate risk to life, physical safety, violence or serious crime in Bangladesh, contact the national emergency service 999 or the appropriate law-enforcement/emergency authority instead of waiting for Aviggo support.
21. Legal or criminal matters
You may contact the appropriate authority where conduct may involve theft, violence, extortion, trafficking, financial fraud or another criminal/legal matter. Aviggo’s internal reporting process does not replace legal reporting.
22. After a report is submitted
A successful in-product report may display a confirmation. Aviggo may keep the reason, short description, reported-profile reference and necessary moderation status as part of the report record.
23. Duplicate reports
You generally do not need to submit the same report repeatedly against the same profile from the same account. If there is materially new information, you may provide it through Contact Us.
24. Prioritisation
While all reports matter, issues involving immediate safety, credible fraud, severe harassment, child safety, serious prohibited activity or repeated abuse may be prioritised according to severity and available information. The same response time cannot be guaranteed for every matter.
25. How Aviggo may review a matter
Aviggo may review relevant profile information, the report description, account records, booking status, reviews, message records, moderation history and other reasonably available platform information. Additional information may be requested where needed.
26. Possible actions
- No action where there is insufficient basis for a violation;
- Warnings or guidance;
- Content editing/removal or visibility limits;
- Profile review or additional verification;
- Feature or matching restrictions;
- Temporary unpublishing or suspension of a profile;
- Account restrictions or termination for serious/repeated violations;
- Preservation of relevant records or lawful cooperation with authorities where required.
27. Profile suspension and restoration
For a serious profile concern, Aviggo may unpublish or suspend the profile. If a later review supports removing the suspension, the profile may be returned to Pending review rather than immediately republished.
28. A report does not equal guilt
A reported user is not automatically treated as having violated policy. Available evidence, context, severity and the applicable policy are considered.
29. No guaranteed requested outcome
Aviggo is not required to provide the exact outcome requested by a reporter, such as a permanent ban, refund or specific penalty. Platform moderation, payment disputes and legal remedies may be separate matters.
30. Limited disclosure of moderation results
To protect privacy, security, investigation integrity and the rights of others, Aviggo may not disclose all moderation details, internal evidence or account actions to the reporter.
31. Reporter privacy
Report-related information will be handled as reasonably necessary and under the Privacy Policy. Aviggo does not intend to disclose unnecessary reporter information unless needed for a fair investigation, legal obligation or other legitimate requirement.
32. Retaliation is prohibited
Threatening, harassing, manipulating bookings or reviews, or otherwise retaliating against someone for a good-faith report may violate the Community Standards.
33. False or malicious reports
Knowingly false allegations, fabricated evidence, competitor sabotage, personal retaliation or use of reporting as harassment are prohibited and may themselves lead to account action.
34. Good-faith reports
A good-faith report is not a violation merely because the allegation cannot ultimately be proven. Provide truthful, neutral and verifiable information as far as reasonably possible.
35. Do not falsify evidence
Edited or fabricated screenshots, forged receipts, altered messages and other false evidence are prohibited. Do not remove context in a way intended to materially misrepresent what occurred.
36. Requesting review of a moderation decision
If you believe a moderation action against your own profile or account was mistaken, you may use Contact Us to request review with relevant details and supporting information. A review request does not guarantee that the action will change.
37. External complaints and legal rights
Aviggo’s internal complaint process does not limit rights available under applicable law. Where appropriate, you may use available processes of the competent government authority, Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, payment provider, law-enforcement agency or court. Follow any applicable statutory procedures or time limits independently.
38. Records and retention
Reports, moderation actions and related records may be retained as necessary for fraud prevention, safety, dispute handling, audit or legal obligations. The Privacy Policy applies to retention and personal information.
39. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated as Aviggo’s report tools, moderation process, marketplace features, safety risks or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be published on this page and reflected in the “Last updated” date.
40. Contact
For account, privacy, booking, legal, moderation or broader complaints outside the profile-report tool, use the current contact method published on Contact Us.
